Let’s be honest—parenting is one of the most rewarding journeys we can take, but it's also one of the most overwhelming.

Statistics tell us that 1 in 5 parents struggle with mental health challenges. This number is even higher among parents and carers who have children with additional needs.

In today’s fast-paced world, parental burnout is often brushed off as just part of the job. But it’s more than that. When we’re exhausted, mentally drained, and struggling to keep up, it impacts every part of our lives, including how we parent.

And still, it’s rarely discussed, and sometimes parents don't even know they are in it. And when you are in it, it can feel like the loneliest place in the world.

If you need some support. Lean in we've got you.

A 4 week Parental Burnout Recovery and Prevention Course

Maybe you are feeling stretched to your limits and on the edge of burnout? Maybe you are looking for some extra support? A backup team?

Here's what to expect over our 4 weeks together as a group:

  • Come as you are. Camera on or off, microphone on or off. If you can’t make the live sessions or just don’t feel up to it, don’t worry—they’re recorded for you to watch whenever works best.

  • Explore tailored burnout strategies. Lots of examples of burnout strategies to try, to help you to create your own burnout safety and prevention plans.

  • Sensory hacks. Lots of examples of simple, sensory hacks designed to help you in the moment during high stress and burnout

  • Identify your “safety circles.” Create your own safety circles. Who do you need in them and who to avoid.

  • Join a private Facebook group. This supportive space is just for parents in the course, where you can connect, share, and support each other.

  • Optional weekly Q&A sessions. Each week, you’ll have the option to join me live in the Facebook group for Q&A. If you’re feeling stuck or need extra help, I’ll be there to give you a hand. Because sometimes we just need a helping hand.

I was always looking for the 'right' way to parent, placing huge amounts of pressure on myself to be the 'perfect parent'. Then on top of that I realised I was part of a family that needed to do things differently and that added a whole new level to the stresses and strains.

I slammed my way into burnout, without even realising what it was, or I was in it. Sometimes we know, sometimes we don't, sometimes we don't see it coming and sometimes we do but we can't avoid it, or we ignore it.

Navigating your way round burnout and through burnout is not easy and it takes time. There is no one size fits all or magic wand. BUT........... with knowledge, strategies, a plan and a back up team there is a way.

Come and join me:

Monday 25th November @ 12.30pm

Tuesday 3rd December @ 12.30pm

Monday 9th December @ 12.30pm

Tuesday 17th December @ 12.30pm

I'm going to be straight with you. Integrity is really important me.

There is no quick way or cookie cutter way out of burnout. It needs to be bespoke to you and your situation and your nervous system. What works for one doesn't work for another. And the time it takes to find our way of burnout is specific to you.

I've got your back. This 4 week course will give you extra support to feel confidence in recognising your burnout before it takes over, to find strategies to help keep you steadier and calmer even when life gets chaotic, or when the worst happens and burnout hits, having the knowledge and confidence to find your way out in a way that works for you.
