Under construction.

Behind every neurodivergent and / or additional needs child and young person is a family carrying more than most people realise. Schools want to support them — and Ofsted is clear:

“Strong relationships with parents and carers are a key part of successful SEND provision.”

(Ofsted EIF, 2023)

But it can be hard to know where to start or what actually helps, especially when families are burnt out and staff are already stretched to capacity.

I help schools work in genuine partnership with parents, creating consistent, compassionate support, giving staff and families tools to do that without burning out.

I'm a dyslexic occupational therapist, solo parent in a neurodiverse family, and someone who’s spent over 20 years working across mainstream and specialist education, and as part of senior leadership roles in school.

I've seen this from every angle — as a parent, a professional, and someone who now consults with schools and charities to improve outcomes for children and young people by strengthening the systems around them.

"The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and I am glad so many of you found Liz Evans’ advice both practical and reassuring. She has a special way of making parents feel heard and understood, which I know many of you appreciated."
